The difference is substantial: on a 100 HP character, you heal 50 instead of 30, which can be the difference between entering a boss fight healthy or on the brink of death. This relic pairs well with Soul Bargain, partially offsetting the reduced max HP by making each rest more efficient.

It also helps sustain through the HP drain of Cursed Cauldron across many fights. Conversely, it anti-synergizes slightly with Berserker's Mark, since better healing keeps you above the 50% HP threshold, preventing the Strength bonus from triggering. The relic has no combat impact and provides zero value during fights themselves.

In runs with few rest sites available, its value drops correspondingly. In runs with many rest sites, it effectively adds a large amount of total HP to your run. Priority: always pick as a solid quality-of-life relic; it keeps you alive across the full run with no downside.
