Eternal Grip

Eternal Grip is an Epic relic that gives all your cards the Retain keyword, fundamentally changing how you manage your hand. Instead of losing unplayed cards at end of turn, you keep everything, allowing you to save expensive cards for later turns or stockpile a powerful multi-card combo. The strongest synergy is with Warding Scroll: every retained card grants +2 Block, turning your entire hand into passive block generation each turn, capped at 3 cards.

This means holding cards actively defends you while you wait for the right moment to play them. Eternal Grip also helps energy-limited decks by letting you play fewer cards per turn without wasting draws. It anti-synergizes with Void Singularity somewhat, since the extra draw fills your hand fast but you might struggle to play through the accumulated cards.

It also makes Ethereal Lantern unnecessary, since you never discard at end of turn anyway. Priority: always pick; hand retention is universally powerful and enables the Warding Scroll passive block engine.
