It pairs perfectly with Lucky Coin, which increases the rarity of rewards.

Together, you see more cards and those cards are more likely to be Rare or Epic, making every reward screen excellent. The relic is strongest early in a run when you have many fights and card rewards ahead, maximizing the total number of extra choices. In element-focused decks, seeing more cards increases the odds of finding matching-element cards to strengthen your synergies.

The relic provides no combat benefit whatsoever, so picking it over a combat relic means accepting temporary weakness for long-term deck quality. Late in a run with few remaining fights, its value drops significantly. Priority: always pick early for maximum long-term value; skip late in a run or if you desperately need combat power now.
