Strategy & Tips
Star Map is a Rare relic that rewards leveling up your cards by giving Level 3 and above cards +2 damage and +1 Block as a flat bonus. This makes upgraded cards significantly more efficient, turning already-strong leveled cards into powerhouses. The relic scales naturally throughout a run as more of your cards reach Level 3+, meaning it gets stronger the longer the run goes.
It pairs well with Crystal of Duality, since the bonus damage and block from Star Map stack on top of Duality's attack-gives-block and block-deals-damage effects, creating triple value from each leveled card. In decks focused on leveling fewer, higher-quality cards, Star Map provides concentrated power. The relic is weaker in wide decks with many un-leveled cards, since the bonus only applies to Level 3+.
Early in a run, it may provide no immediate value if no cards have reached that threshold yet. Priority: always pick in decks that invest in card leveling; situational early in a run before you have leveled cards.
