Strategy & Tips

The Chaos Mage uses weighted random actions, making it unpredictable. Its most likely action is a 22-damage attack (highest weight), followed by a nasty Poison 5 + Weakness 2 debuff combo. It can also deliver a heavy 32-damage hit or add 2 Status Cards to clog your deck.

Since you cannot predict its turns, maintain consistent block each turn. The Weakness debuff is particularly dangerous because it reduces your damage by 25% while you need to deal with 125 HP. Bring status cleansing cards.

Vulnerability is strong since any turn could be an attack. Freeze is excellent to skip its debuff turns entirely. Iron Rosary gives opening block to handle an unlucky first-turn heavy attack.

Focus on fast, consistent damage to avoid prolonged deck pollution from Status Cards.
