Spirit Shield provides 6 Block for 0 cost with Ethereal keyword. The free Block is excellent for emergency defense. The 0.5x Block scaling is low, but the zero cost compensates.
Level 3 adds 2 healing, and level 5 adds +2 Block. If not played, Ethereal exhausts it at turn end, triggering Feel No Pain, Dark Harvest, and Soul Collector. This dual-use nature makes her valuable in exhaust builds even when you do not need Block.
Holy element contributes to Holy synergy healing. Frost Heart preserves 50% of Block. Crystal of Duality adds +3 damage to Block.
Pair with other zero-cost cards for high card-play counts triggering Shadow Cloak and Void Resonance. Warding Scroll has no effect since Ethereal exhausts rather than retains. A flexible utility card for both defensive and exhaust-oriented builds.
