Card Fusion

Level Up Your Waifus

Choose a favorite waifu and she earns XP from every battle. Level her up to unlock new artwork, stat boosts, and unique dialogue. Each card has her own personality.

Meta Upgrades

Currency carries over — even after a loss. Invest in permanent upgrades: more HP, extra energy, bonus gold, additional cards per turn. Progress builds across every attempt.

What genre is Soul Strip?
Soul Strip is a roguelike card battler (deckbuilder). You collect cards, build a deck during a run, and fight through turn-based battles across 3 acts. Think Slay the Spire meets collectible waifu cards.
Is Soul Strip free to play?
The demo is free on itch.io and includes Act 1 with 23 cards. The full game pricing has not been announced yet.
What platforms does it support?
Currently Windows and Linux. Mac support is planned. The game is built in Godot Engine, which makes porting straightforward.
Is there multiplayer?
No. Soul Strip is a single-player experience focused on strategy, deck building, and replayability.
How long is a single run?
A full run through all 3 acts takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on your strategy and how many events you explore.
How is this different from Slay the Spire?
Soul Strip has a 5-element system that creates draft tension, a card fusion mechanic where 3 copies combine into stronger versions, waifu cards that level up with unique art and dialogue, and a meta-progression system that persists across runs.
What engine is it built in?
Godot Engine 4 with GDScript. The website is built with Astro.
When does the full game launch?
